Laurent Diehl

Laurent Diehl was born in Switzerland in 1976. He received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Neuchâtel, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, in 2003. In 2003, he joined Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where he later became a Research Associate. He is currently involved in the development of high-power quantum cascade lasers grown by metal–organic chemical vapor deposition, as well as the physics of these devices, including their ultrafast dynamics. His current research interests include the development of p-type Si/SiGe quantum cascade lasers. Dr. Diehl was a corecipient of the Swiss Physical Society's IBM award in 2001.
