个人简介
Kush Kumar Upadhyay completed his Bachelor and Master studies from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, India in June 2014. He worked at National chemical Laboratory (NCL), Pune, India for his master’s thesis which was based on synthesis of metal oxides/sulfides and porous Carbon for energy storage application.
He completed his PhD in September 2018 in chemical engineering with classification of Distinction and Honour with thesis title- Metal Oxides and sulfides based materials active in negative potential window for Supercapacitors from Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon, Portugal.
He is presently working as Post Doc researcher at C2C-NewCap company in close collaboration with Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon, Portugal under PEGASUS (Plasma Enabled and Graphene Allowed Synthesis of Unique nanoStructures) FET-OPEN Grant Number: 766894 project.
His current research interests are:
1. Optimization of graphene and its composite synthesis through various approach and its electrochemical evaluation for supercapacitors
2. Development and optimization of self-healable electrodes for energy storage
3. Synthesis of metal oxides/sulfides-graphene composites for supercapacitor applications
