Dr. Awanish Kumar received his Ph.D. degree in Molecular Parasitology (2009) from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India and CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India. After doing Post-doctoral study in molecular biology, proteomics, and therapeutic aspect of infectious disease at McGill University Canada, he has joined National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India as Assistant Professor, where he is working on various functions and therapeutic areas. The major research area of Dr. Awanish Kumar is disease biology and drug development. His current work is focused on antimicrobial resistance, drug targeting, drug development, and drug delivery of antimicrobial agents. He has guided many Ph.D, MS, and B.Tech students and such supervision are going on.
