Dr. Verma is working on abiotic stresses, contaminated (toxic) water with silicon and nano nanoparticles, and their impacts on plant development, physiological, cellular and molecular aspects. The modern tools and techniques like LICOR-6800, AAS, ICP-MS, UV-Vis spectroscopy, GC, TEM and SEM microscopes are applying to assess the uptake, accumulation, transformations, translocation of ions, and impact on plant performance, productivity, leaf gas exchange, ultrastructure of cellular organs.
