Andreas Koutsodendris

My research focuses on a better understanding of the dynamics, driving factors and feedback mechanisms involved in paleoclimatic and paleoenvironmental processes during the Quaternary. I am currently generating high-resolution climate records in the Eastern Mediterranean region (Tenaghi Philippon, Lake Ohrid, IODP Expedition 398), Central Asia (Qaidam Basin) and off SE Africa (IODP Expedition 361).
