Professor Koushiappas conducts research between cosmology and particle physics. His work focuses on the field of dark matter physics and the search for the nature of dark matter particles from an experimentally driven theoretical perspective. He is interested in a variety of problems in the influence of dark matter particle properties (mass, coupling) on the large-scale structure of the universe, the unraveling of the background of diffuse high-energy astrophysics in the context of dark matter searches, and new statistical methods.
