Golebski Korneliusz

Dr. Golebski is an immunologist, molecular biologist, and doctor of medicine. He obtained his master, as well as his PhD degree at the University of Amsterdam. He is Assistant Professor and his team at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers investigate the immunological mechanisms underlying the pathologies of the lower and upper airways, including asthma, allergy, and chronic rhinitis. Dr. Golebski has received numerous awards recognizing his excellence and contribution to the better understanding of mechanisms driving human chronic conditions of the airways. His research in the field of innate immunity and discoveries of novel cell types driving inflammation are well recognized worldwide. He has received numerous international travel grants and best oral and poster presentation awards. Dr. Golebski is a recipient of international and national grants and funds for studying the role of innate lymphoid cells and airway epithelial cells in human airway pathologies. He also received funds to develop a human cell model for testing the safety and efficacy of therapeutics in a personalized medicine manner. He is an active member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), European Rhinology Society, European Respiratory Society (ERS), and Dutch Allergy Society. Dr. Golebski is a partner of several international consortia focusing on precision medicine in asthma, including PERsonalized MEdicine Approach for asthma and allergy Biologicals SeLEction (PERMEABLE), Precision Medicine for More Oxygen (P4O2), Taxonony, Treatment, Targets, and Remission (3TR).
