Viktor H Koelzer

Prof. Dr. Viktor Koelzer received his medical training in Germany, the United States and Switzerland. He is a board-certified pathologist passionate about technology in application to daily diagnostic practice and research. He aims to improve patient care through implementation of high-quality, science driven computational image analysis approaches with a focus on gastrointestinal disease and tumour immunology. Project leadership experience in the implementation of a digital pathology infrastructure in an academic hospital setting. Grant holder and recipient of awards from the European Society of Pathology, the US and Canadian Academy of Pathology, Pfizer Research Foundation and the British Division of the International Academy of Pathology.
