I have a Bachelor degree in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2004), a Master degree in Physics from the State University of Maringá (2007), whose theme of my dissertation was “Difractometry of Studies on Nuclear Fuel UO2-Gd2O3 Prepared by High Energy Milling ”, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andrea Paesano Junior. PhD degree in Physics from the State University of Maringá (2011) with a Sandwich PhD program at the Technical University of Braunschweig (TU Braunschweig), Germany, whose thesis theme was “Structural and Magnetic Properties of Solid Solutions of the type Bi2(MxAl1-x)4O9”. In Germany, I worked in the Solid State Chemistry Group at the Institute of Physics and Theoretical Chemistry at TU Braunschweig under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Klaus-Dieter Becker and Prof. Dr. Fred Jochen Litterst. Currently, I have a permanent Professor position at the Physics Department at the State University of Maringá. Research interests includes nuclear materials, nuclear energy, non-conventional synthesis of nanomaterials, mechanosynthesis, high energy milling, mechanochemistry, nanocrystalline materials, nanoglasses, metastable materials, complex oxides, energy storage, high entropy oxides, structural characterization of nanomaterials, disordered nanomaterials, local structure of nanomaterials, Mössbauer spectroscopy, solid state NMR, Rietveld refinement, functional behavior of nanomaterials on a macroscopic scale, functional properties of nanomaterials dependent on particle size and shape, nanomagnetism, electrochemical properties, thermal stability and correlations between the local structure and macroscopic properties of material nanostructures.
