I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at The University of Calgary and the director of the Addictions and Mental Health Lab. My research focuses on transdiagnostic processes of substance and behavioral addictions and their co-occurring mental health disorders. Furthermore, I investigate the convergence of gambling-gaming (e.g., loot boxes, Esports). I have ongoing collaborations with the University of Sao Paulo, and The Royal Ottawa.
