My current studies focus mainly on two topics; (1) kinematic and geochronological evolution of the tectonic belts in marine and land areas, and (2) site-specific seismic hazard analyses of tectonically active regions. I use geomorphological, geological, and structural mapping, chrono-lithostratigraphic section measurements, isotopic/paleontological dating, and active/passive seismological methods (e.g., seismic reflection, MASW, microtremor measurements) during my research.
