I grew up reading Sci-fi books written by authors like Issac Asimov and Jules Verne. During my undergraduate studies, I got the opportunity to work on some cool Robotics projects for different fests organized at our college as well as other top universities in India. I gained a lot of hands-on experience in building robots. However, after I finished my undergraduate degree, I wanted to get proficient in coding. I started learning other programming languages like Python and R. I started reading many research papers on different technologies that are being used in the area of Artificial Intelligence. During my Masters, I started working as a Research Assistant and had the opportunity to collaborate with enthusiastic people like me. I learned a lot by working with such smart people. I wanted to expand my knowledge and continue to do research in the area of AI. That's when I decided to apply for Ph.D. at my university and was fortunate enough to be accepted by my two esteemed advisors, Dr.Biplav Srivastava and Dr.Dezhi Wu who gave me this wonderful opportunity.
