Bio
My research work is focused on band gap engineering of wide band-gap semiconductors like ZnO and TiO2 using various dopants and controlling the processing parameters. I use mainly sol-gel synthesis technique for preparing thin films or nanoparticles. Major characterizations that I have been using for understanding various aspects of materials/thin films developed in our lab, are XRD, UV-Vis, photo-luminescence, FE-SEM and AFM. Also, I have developed interest in biomaterials and bioimaging.
