Justin Smith

I'm a postdoctoral scholar at UCLA working with Christian Ratsch. My postdoctoral research is in surfaces and quantum dots. My past, and still ongoing, work is in developing understanding and approximations for thermal density functional theory primarily in collaboration with Kieron Burke. My additional professional interest is in the intersection of science and society.
