Justin Fischer is a Geographer for National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC) whose current research interests focus on understanding the spatial ecology of various wildlife species, disease epidemiology, movement analysis, home range estimation, and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). As a NWRC researcher, his scholarly interests have encompassed a range of topics, including habitat and resource selection modelling, various wildlife species quantitative movement analysis, landcover mapping, rabies and chronic wasting disease epidemiology, nonlethal damage management technique testing, and wildlife damage sampling estimation. Mr. Fischer also serves as a NWRC-wide GIS and UAS resource. He develops databases, maps, and other products for a variety of purposes.
