Research Interests The major focus of the research team is to understand the molecular mechanism bacterial pathogens use to attack and exploit hosts and how the antibiotics control bacterial infection. The goal is to identify new targets and lead compounds for the development of more effective chemotherapies. The lab employs a diverse toolkit including biochemical, chemical genetic and various cutting-edge functional genomic methods such as Tn-seq.
