Julius Schöning (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer vision from the Institute of Cognitive Science, Osnabrück University. He was a Systems Architect and a Researcher focused on self-driving vehicles with ZF Friedrichshafen AG. He is currently a Full Professor with the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, with a focus on AI-in-the-loop. He is also a Software Requirement Engineer for agricultural HMIs and has studied mechatronics as well as intelligent embedded microsystems.
