Dr. Jürgen Knauer is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment at Western Sydney University. He develops and applies vegetation and land surface models to better understand vegetation responses and feedbacks to climate change. His current focus lies on the effects of plant physiology (e.g. photosynthesis, stomatal conductance, mesophyll conductance) on biogeochemical cycles and the climate system.
