Jürgen Burger

Jürgen Burger received the diploma and doctoral degrees in physics from the University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erlangen, Germany, in 1987 and 1993. He is currently Professor for Microtechnology and Biomedical Engineering at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, Bern, Switzerland, and Co-Program Director of the biomedical engineering master program of the University of Bern. His research interests include intelligent surgical instruments and implantable devices in neurosurgery, ophthalmology, otology, osteosynthesis, and orthopaedics.
