Joseph M. Lukens

Joseph M. Lukens received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and physics from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL, USA, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2015. From 2015 to 2022, he was employed as a Wigner Fellow and a Research Scientist in quantum information science at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He is currently the Senior Director of Quantum Networking and a Research Professor with Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, USA, maintaining a joint faculty appointment with ORNL. His research interests include a variety of topics in photonic quantum information processing, networking, and Bayesian inference.
