Josep M. Pique

Josep Miquel Piqué Huerta received the MBA degree in telecommunication engineering from United Pentecostal Church of LaSalle, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 2001. He is the Doctor in ecosystems of innovation from Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona, Spain. He is an expert of the Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission and a member of the Team of Specialists on Innovation and Competitiveness Policies of the United Nations Commission for Europe. His long professional experience in university management has led him to promote and lead Postgraduate Programs, Technology Transfer Centers, University Incubators, and Innovation Science and Technology Parks. He has encouraged several hybrid organizations to take the partnership model University–Industry–Public Administration.
