Jose Antonio Arz

My main research interest concerns high-resolution micropaleontological analysis of Upper Cretaceous sediments, with applications in Biostratigraphy, Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology. I am particularly keen on the biological response to critical events along Earth´s history, such as the impact of a meteorite at the Cretaceous-Paleogene (K/T mass extinction event), the Upper Cretaceous oceanic red beds or the Cretaceous oceanic anoxic events.
