Jonathon O. Russell, MD, FACS is the Director of Endoscopic and Robotic Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. In this capacity, he directly oversees innovation within the field of thyroid and parathyroid surgery. He is also the chair of the Technology Committee for the Endocrine Section of the American Head and Neck Society. He has lectured nationally and internationally on innovations in the management of thyroid and parathyroid disease, including scarless thyroidectomy and parathyroidectomy, as well as radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of thyroid tumors and nodules.
