I am a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon dedicated to caring for children, educating future surgeon-scientists and conducting high impact translational research. My unique focus stems from my surgical training in musculoskeletal diseases in combination with my basic science training in biochemistry, coagulation, vascular biology and bone biology. The theme of my clinical and basic science research is to determine the biological mechanisms by which musculoskeletal tissue responds to tissue injury.
