I have a strong interest in the mechanisms of signal transduction, especially downstream of the opioid receptors. In my lab, we also use this molecular signal transduction information to design novel drug discovery strategies, and take part in discovery teams. My specialty is in vitro screening of new ligands, and we have active projects with both peptides and small molecules.
