He is very involved in carer support and founded the Frontotemporal Dementia Carer Support Group. Professor Hodges has extensive publications in the fields of neuropsychology and behavioural neurology. He has authored over 300 peer reviewed papers and approximately 100 chapters and reviews. He has written books on transient amnesia, and cognitive assessment for clinicians, and co-authored, with Dr. Berrios, a book on memory disorders and psychiatric practice. He recently edited the first textbook, dedicated to early onset dementia syndromes and is currently editing a book on frontotemporal dementia syndromes. He was the founding co-editor of Neurocase and is now associate editor of Brain.
