Joel T. Runnels received the Ph.D. degree in aerospace engineering and mechanics from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in 2019. He is a Guidance, Navigation and Controls Engineer with Ball Aerospace, Boulder, CO, USA. His research interests include attitude determination and control, target space vehicle tracking and estimation, and thermomechanical-optical estimation of telescope wavefront error.
