Bio
We aim to understand molecular mechanisms underlying the development and progression of human cancer. Various approaches are applied to identify and examine the molecules and their pathways responsible for different characteristics of cancer and to make such knowledge useful in patient care. Currently we focus on how inactivation of developmental transcription factors KLF5 and ATBF1 contributes to prostate and breast cancer development.
