I am interested in developing foundational principles and efficient algorithms to facilitate data-driven scientific discovery and industrial processing of data.
My research topics include time series prediction, model selection, signal processing, combinatorial design, data mining infrastructure, and deep learning with different applications such as speech emotion analysis, financial prediction, image/video compression, etc.
