Zhaojian Li

Zhaojian Li (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in aerospace engineering (flight dynamics and control) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He was an Algorithm Engineer with General Motors from January 2016 to July 2017. He is currently a Red Cedar Distinguished Associate Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Michigan State University. His current research interests include learning-based control, nonlinear and complex systems, and robotics and automated vehicles. He is the author of more than 50 top journal articles and several patents. He was a recipient of the NSF CAREER Award. He is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Vehicles, Evolving Systems journal, American Control Conference, and ASME Dynamics and Control Conference.
