Jessica Wardlaw carried out this work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K. Her research applies her expertise in geographical information systems and human-centered design to her interest in citizen science, and the participation of nonprofessionals in professional scientific activities.
