Dr. Nielson is an Assistant Professor in the Psychiatry Department and the Institute for Health Informatics, focused on computational psychiatry research. Her lab works with data repositories for archived and ongoing trials aimed at precision diagnosis and treatment of various mental health disorders, including schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and addiction. Additional research is focused on data sharing standards related to neurotrauma.
