Research areas include:
interventions to improve exercise capacity and quality of life in people with lung disease, including COPD, cystic fibrosis and dust-related lung diseases;
evaluation of exercise tests and exercise prescription for people with lung disease;
physical therapies (including exercise) to improve mucus clearance;
translation of research evidence into clinical practice, especially pulmonary rehabilitation in rural and remote areas;
student learning through clinical simulation
