Jan U. H. Eitel received the bachelor’s degree in forest ecology and management from the University of Freiburg, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, in 2002, and the M.Sc degree in forest resources in 2005, and Ph.D. degree in natural resources from the University of Idaho, Moscow, ID, USA, in 2008. Currently, he is an Assistant Research Professor with the University of Idaho. His research interests include developing and using novel remote sensing tools and techniques to advance our understanding of processes that control the environment we live in.
