I am currently a professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. My major research interest is on applying causal inference approaches such as Mendelian randomization to enhance our understanding for the genetic aetiology of complex human diseases. I am particularly interested in applying phenome-wide Mendelian randomization to molecular phenotypes, such as protein, gene expression and methylation to accelerate drug development.
