Research Interests – are centered on pedology, and are more specifically directed towards studying clay mineral and soil organic matter formations (origin and evolution) in the context of pedogenesis, and their vulnerability to changing environmental conditions.
Research contributions: Biogeochemical Si cycle, soil formation and stabilization of soil organic carbon, Geochemical tracers and the Si pathways in terrestrial ecosystems, Soil-forming processes and pedogenesis (especially in Podzol)
