Bio
Juha Plosila (M'06) received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics and communication technology from the University of Turku, Turku, Finland, in 1993 and 1999, respectively.
He is an Adjunct Professor in digital systems design and Senior Lecturer in embedded computing with the Department of Information Technology, University of Turku. During 2006–2011, he held a fixed-term post of Academy Research Fellow at the Academy of Finland. At the University of Turku, he directs an active research group focusing on modeling, design, and verification of network-on-chip (NoC) and 3-D integrated systems at different abstraction levels. His research interests include formal methods for NoC and embedded system design, reliable on-chip communication techniques, on-chip monitoring and control methods, dynamically reconfigurable systems, and application mapping on NoC based systems.
Prof. Plosila is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Embedded and Real-Time Communication Systems (IJERTCS) published by IGI Global.
