Jorge Castineira Moreira

Jorge Castiñeira Moreira received the degree in electronic engineering from the National University of Mar del Plata, in 1990, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Lancaster University, Lancaster, U.K., in 1996 and 2000, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Faculty of Engineering, National University of Mar del Plata, where he teaches digital communications, encryption, and error-control coding. He is also an Independent Researcher with the National Scientific and Technical Research Council. His research interests include digital communications systems, information theory, error-control coding, and data and wireless networks. He is the coauthor of the book Essentials of Error-Control coding, Wiley, 2006.
