Career Trajectory
Bio
She has extensive experience (over 25 years) in clinical trials, having been PI in over 30 national and international trials and currently leading two multicentre national clinical trial investigating biomarkers for longterm outcome of immune reconstitution (CLOBAS) and another trial investigating the effect of disease modifying treatment on artificial reproductive treatment in MS (ARTIMS).
J Lechner-Scott has been continuously funded over an extended period. Current combined grant funding from industry and public granting bodies exceeds $10 million. Current projects funded as CIA from the International Progression Alliance are epigenetics of progression in MS and CLOBAS and ARTIMS by a global pharmaceutical company. They lead as CI the epigenetic aspects of AusLong (GNT 1127819), a longitudinal study with significant impact as well as national trials measuring the impact of mitochondrial supplements (MRF1152317) and investigating the effect of EBV on MS (MRF2024369) as well as the first national treatment trial in MOG associated disease CureMOG (MRF 2030966).
