Julia Hess is a biologist working in translational oncology and acting as a link between the research unit and clinical partners.

She leads the competence field “Therapeutic Targets and Intervention” in the research unit Radiation Cytogenetics (ZYTO) with a focus on generating clinical cohorts of cancer patients and omics data at multiple levels to identify prognostic stratification markers and develop targets for novel therapeutic approaches in precision oncology.
