Joao is a post-doctoral researcher at the Marine and Freshwater Research Centre of the Atlantic Technological University. He studies plastic and microplastic pollution in the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, and has an interest in behavior psychology, ocean literacy and science communication
