Juan F. Blanco-Libreros

Hi, I'm an ecosystem and landscape ecologist based at Instituto de Biologia at Universidad de Antioquia, Medellin, Colombia. I use mangroves, forests, and streams along wild-urban gradients as model systems. Now, I study how carbon stocks/fluxes respond to both hydrological processes and spatial patterns. I collaborate with zoologists, botanists, and social scientists to understand the role of different species (including H. sapiens) modulating C pathways in tropical soils and sediments.
