Bio
As a member of the Metlakatla Indian Community of Alaska (Tsimshian), Jerreed D. Ivanich is dedicated to health research for North American Indigenous (Alaska Native, American Indian, First Nations) populations. His work meets at the intersections of prevention science, social network analysis, and youth development. He received his PhD in sociology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Jerreed joined the Center for American Indian health at Johns Hopkins University as a postdoctoral scholar in January of 2019.
