Doctor Ivan Bièche coordinates the Hospital platform for cancer molecular genetics at Institut Curie jointly with Dr Olivier Delattre. These platforms are used by patients suffering from cancer wherever they are being treated, to access innovative molecular tests for appropriate, personalized treatments.

He is also involved in the molecular consultation committee set up at Institut Curie in October 2014 and in several precision medical trials (Shiva02, Safir02, Acsé, Padal, etc.).

His research focuses on analyzing the molecular bases for carcinogenesis. His research is in two directions:
· Search for the genes involved in human tumorigenesis
· Search for the prognosis and predictive factors of response to anti-cancer treatments, in particular targeted therapies and immunomodulators.
