Breast DCIS is preinvasive stage of breast cancer that can progress to invasion in upto 50% of cases treated by BCS. What are predictors of recurrence and what are factors determining this progression remain unswered. My project is discussing these factors and discovering new bio markers that can be used as predictors of recurrence whether invasive or non invasive. I constructed TMA of 1000 primary pure DCIS lesions to be used in the project. NGS and Digital image analysis are being studied.
