I am a neuroscientist and mTORopathy expert at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, investigating the relationship between immune system, gene mutations, and the development of neurodevelopmental phenotypes (particularly ASD). This research builds up on my PhD work on Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. Previous to this, I researched Pain mechanisms in Cambridge, UK and wondered through several Cancer and Pharmacology labs in Portugal.
