Ima-Obong Ekanem

Ima-Obong Ekanem currently works at the Department of Pathology, University of Calabar. Presently she is Director, Calabar Cancer Registry. . She is a Professor of Pathology and Chief Consultant Pathologist, University of Calabar and University Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Nigeria. Formerly, Head of Pathology Department at both institutions till 2013. Graduated 1977, with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor Surgery (MBBS) degree of University of Ibadan, Nigeria and obtained her Fellowship of the National Post-graduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCPath) in 1987.
