Ignacio Prieto-Egido

Ignacio Prieto-Egido currently works at the Signal and Communications Theory Department of the ReyJuan Carlos University and is the Director of the EHAS Foundation. His research is based on improving health care in rural areas of developing countries through communications technologies (telemedicine, m-heath, etc.), focusing his work on the design, implementation and evaluation of solutions to reduce maternal and infant mortality. He has 8 years of experience working on projects in Ecuador, Cambodia, Peru, Guatemala or Bolivia with funding of international institutions such as the European Union, the Inter-American Development Bank, USAID or the Development Bank of Latin America.
