Full professor at the Paulista University, where she is carrying out research in food production networks and precision livestock production. She is also emeritus professor at the State University of Campinas, and at the Federal University of Grande Dourados in Brazi, and at Florida State University, USA. She was president of the Brazilian Society of Agricultural Engineering, and the CIGR from 2006 to 2008.
