Hugo Rodrigue (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Montreal, QC, Canada, in 1985. He received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 2008, the M.S. degree in industrial engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, South Korea, in 2015. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the School of Mechanical Engineering, Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, South Korea. His research interests include soft actuation, smart materials, and soft robotics.
